At Big Spring United, we view families and young people as the future of our faith community. Our Youth & Family Ministry creates safe, nurturing spaces where children, teens, and their families can grow spiritually, develop lasting friendships, and discover how to live out their faith in everyday life. Through engaging teaching, vibrant fellowship, and outreach events, we aim to equip the next generation to become confident followers of Christ who also serve the broader community.

Sunday School

Every week, our Sunday School classroom provides age‑appropriate biblical teaching, interactive activities, and creative crafts that bring Scripture to life. Trained teachers guide children through stories, discussions, and hands‑on projects, fostering a love for God’s Word and encouraging spiritual formation from an early age. Sunday School is open to kids ages 3-10 and takes place during the service.

Youth Group

Designed for middle‑school and high‑school students, our Youth Group meets for dynamic lessons, service projects, and fun fellowship activities. The goal is to help teens deepen their faith, build authentic relationships, and discover how to apply biblical principles in school, home, and beyond.

Community & Family Events

We regularly host events that welcome families and children from our congregation and the surrounding community. These gatherings include: Fall Fest, Easter egg hunts, Christmas activities, and more events that invite the whole community to share in joyful worship. These events create opportunities for families to connect, celebrate milestones, and experience the love of the church beyond regular meetings.
