INCLEMENT WEATHER!

If there is a need to close church during inclement weather for ANY service, meeting, or practices, we will handle it as follows. When the decision is made, all council members will be notified. It will be submitted and will appear as Big Spring U.L.C. on WHTM 27 and Big Spring United Luther- an on Fox 43 and Channel 21. If you do not see a closing on TV and still have question as to whether there is a closing, you can call a council member. (See your newsletter for a list of council members and their contact information). If you are able to assist with snow removal speak with Layne Barrick. Donations of ice melt are always welcome.


ADVENT SERVICES –

Wednesday, December 16 @ 06 p.m.

A Midweek Advent service will be held on December 16 at 06 p.m. for all Big Spring area Lutheran Churches. Pastor Molly Haggerty and Vicar Andrew Berdahl will be officiating. This year, we will not hold in person gathering and instead we will stream it on our Facebook and website each week. Enjoy Advent with us.

2020 has been a year with many challenges that we never would have expected. If anyone in the congregation feels moved to help support the food bank in November and December, there is a list below that could be used to help create a full holiday meal. Your caring and sharing box can be dropped off at the church December 20th.

VIRTUAL BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS) session will be held on December 20 and January 17 from 3–4:30 p.m. via Zoom

Back by popular demand! The Bloserville fellowship will be offering another VBS services on Sundays, December 20 and January 17 from 3-4:30 p.m. via Zoom. Project packs will be delivered to your homes the week of the session. Contact Pat Belden for registration at pbelden941@gmail.com All are welcome! Please invite your family and friends who have children to register! A project list will be provided for those living out of the area


CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE
