At Big Spring United, we believe that caring for our neighbors is a core expression of our faith. Our Food Ministries aim to nourish bodies, uplift spirits, and strengthen community bonds. Whether it’s providing a warm meal, a hopeful backpack, or a helping hand during a crisis, we’re committed to being a reliable source of love and support for everyone in the Big Spring area.
Big Spring Area Food BankThe Big Spring Area Food Bank operates out of our Church building once a month for distribution. We collect donations to support their mission, ensure the building is set up for their use, and we provide volunteers on distribution days! Learn more using the button below.

Paw PacksOnce a month, we partner with Paw Packs to ensure students in the Big Spring School District have access to food over the weekend. Many students rely on free and reduced lunch, as well as free breakfast, available during the school week, but may go hungry over the weekend. Each backpack contains nutritious snacks, easy-to-make meals, and a few surprise treats.
